Principal's Welcome

Principal Dr. Timothy Bianchi

Hello East Pennsboro Area High School Community, 

Each day, I am honored to be the Principal of East Pennsboro Area High School. I feel the tremendous pride and expectations the community has in its schools.

My wife Kari and I have two awesome children, Ezzie (11; 5th Grade) and Lucy (8; 3rd Grade). Kari spent nearly 20 years as a Health & Physical Education teacher at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School, where she is an alumnus. A few years ago, she changed career paths to become the fourth generation to run her family’s business. Kari and I met at Mechanicsburg. I taught social studies and was an assistant principal there for 15 years. Ezzie and Lucy enjoy school and are involved in a number of activities. We spend a lot of time together as a family at their sporting events. Baseball is our favorite sport, and we root hard for the Phillies! 

I was born in Scranton, PA, and was raised in Lancaster County, attending Lampeter-Strasburg School District and Millersville University. Both of my parents along with numerous other extended family members were teachers. My father was a school administrator and still serves in the administration at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology. Involvement in team sports has shaped my values to a great degree. One of my proudest series of memories involved watching my younger brother, Jeff, play major league baseball for the Milwaukee Brewers. My younger sister, Sarah, serves as a nurse in a retirement community. Our family has dedicated much in the line of service to others, and I hope to extend the same at East Pennsboro. In May of 2023, I earned my doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Shippensburg & Millersville Universities. I aim to combine this academic experience with eight years as an assistant principal at Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School to help lead East Pennsboro to future success.  

As I immerse myself in what it means to be an East Pennsboro Panther, learning of the proud history and tradition of the greater school community, I also hope to impart several of my core values to maintain and strengthen an already thriving school. I hope that through example, I will help lead a high-energy, positive, welcoming school environment that helps prepare students for the next phases of their lives. I believe in our next generation of students and future leaders. They have talents and abilities that I envy, and I hope to create a nurturing environment where all students can achieve their definition of success.
