Meet the School Counseling Staff

The role of a school counselor is to provide valuable resources for students and families, and support them in three main areas:

Academic Development

Personal/Social Development

College and Career Development

Christy Lohnes is the Secretary for the Counseling office. This will be her 18th year with the district and her 5th year at the high school.  Christy is a long-time resident of East Pennsboro and the mother of 2 East Pennsboro Area High School graduates. Christy says: “I love being at home with my husband and dog, Peanut.  I enjoy spending time with my adult children and working in my craft room.”

Hillary Miller is the School Counselor for students with last names beginning A-F and students attending CPACTC at the High School.  Hillary received her BA in Psychology from Salisbury University in 2007 and her Masters of Education in School Counseling Certified K-12 from Shippensburg University in 2013.  Hillary says:  "I enjoy spending time with my husband and two kids, exercising, gardening, and being outdoors."

Christina Zeller is a School Counselor for students with last names beginning with G-O in 9th-12th grades at the High School. Christina received her BS in Psychology from Marywood University in 2006 and her M.Ed. in School Counseling from West Chester University in 2009.
