Debra Lerew
Debra Lerew teaches 9th and 10th grade English and Multicultural Literature at the high school. She has been teaching at East Pennsboro since February 2026. Debra received her Bachelor of Arts/English and her Secondary Education Certification from Lock Haven University in 1992 and 1995, as well as her Master of Arts in Religion from Evangelical Seminary in 2010.
Debra says: "Before coming to East Pennsboro, I was an ELD Aide at Mechanicsburg High School, and prior to that, I was a building substitute at Northern High School.
My hobbies include crocheting, sketching, traveling the US, and writing. I am a published author of paranormal mystery, cozy mystery, and poetry. My husband Mike and I have been married for 25 years, and we have two sons, Wesley and Wayde, and a black lab/German shepherd mix named Sable (nickname Taily-Po)."
